in 2019 i left my 9-5 on a mission to advance women. Why?
There are more women than ever in leadership today, but there is still a gap in the rooms where most decisions are made. Yet, companies with more than 30% female executives consistently outperform those with fewer women in leadership.
Meanwhile, women frequently cite doubt, imposter feelings and stalling until they “feel more confident” as a key reason they aren’t applying for promotions they are capable of, remaining silent instead of sharing their ideas or making brave asks. The confidence gap and systemic issues are expensive—they cost women (and their organizations) in their peace, their potential, and their paychecks.
